Child Photo & AI Policy

Parent or guardian consent is required

A child photo may only be uploaded by a parent or legal guardian, or by an adult who has permission from the parent or legal guardian. If you do not have that authority, do not upload the photo.

What the photo is used for

• Creating an illustrated version of the child for the personalized storybook.
• Maintaining visual consistency across the book, cover, companion scenes, PDF, and optional video.
• Previewing and delivering the purchased product and helping with support requests.

Third-party AI providers

Woodeo may send the uploaded photo and the personalization details needed for the order to third-party AI providers so the story, illustrations, and optional video can be generated.

AI providers process this information as part of the requested generation workflow. Do not include sensitive details that are not needed for the story.

What Woodeo does not do without separate permission

• We do not sell child photos.
• We do not publish uploaded child photos in ads, social media, testimonials, public galleries, or sample books without separate permission.
• We do not use uploaded photos to identify a child, verify identity, or build a public profile of the child.

Accuracy and review

AI-generated illustrations may not perfectly match the uploaded photo and may contain unexpected details. Review the generated preview and contact support if you see a safety, privacy, or quality issue.

Deletion and unauthorized uploads

To request deletion of a child photo or generated assets, or to report an unauthorized upload, contact hello@woodeo.ai. Include the order email, child first name, approximate order date, and enough information for us to locate the assets.

Deletion requests may be limited where we must keep records for payment, tax, fraud prevention, disputes, shipping, or other legal obligations.

Safer uploads

• Use a clear photo of the child only, without other children or private background information where possible.
• Avoid school names, addresses, medical details, government IDs, or other sensitive information in the photo or dedication.
• Use only first names or nicknames unless you are comfortable including more detail in the finished product.
